The training has been coming along solid... starting to get my hill legs in shape. Had a nice run up Mt. Russell last week and heading to Shasta for some ski/ mountaineering snow fun this weekend. Russell was a good 17 hour day and the legs felt good with no altitude issues topping out over 14,000 feet coming from sea level the day before. Interesting that Russell is almost exactly half the height of K2!.. gulp!
